Bonus Batch: Nothing But Sweet

Rachel: What a fabulous season! Thank you to our wonderful listeners, who hail from all over the world. Thank you tons upon tons to Raul for all of his hard work and heaps upon heaps for Luisa agreeing to go on this sweet journey. I’ve had a blast pushing myself out of my comfort zone and I think I’ve become a better baker for it- and if not I’ve at least gained confidence.

I am so excited as we move into Season 2. Yes, there will be a short break but that is because we are preparing for some hot and fresh new segments. We alluded to one in our episode 10 show notes. We’ll be recreating iconic desserts from film so be sure to stay tuned. I’m also really looking forward to the Around the World segment we discussed in this episode. I love exploring new cuisines.

Luisa: Yes, it’s been quite the baking adventure! I’m so proud of all the things we’ve learned and improved upon since starting our podcast journey. I also feel like I’ve been better and braver in regards to baking. Despite the glitches we sometimes encounter with audio, coordinating our busy schedules, and burning cakes its been a very successful Season 1. Many thanks to Rachel for being the most amazing idea generator, letting me cackle and ramble as much as I want, and for always coming up with content to keep us going. And of course to Raul for taking out our “umms”, tolerating my requests to bring me things, and for all the work he puts into editing. I guess also special thanks to my dog, Dora, for not minding when I spill flour on her head as she hovers when I bake, and to our family and friends for tuning it and giving us support. I can’t wait for you guys to listen to all the fun Season 2 content! During this short break I’ll be having a baby, and hopefully finding energy to keep baking lots of new things.

Stay sweet, Procrastination!
